Most apps want your attention. This one wants to introduce you to someone — step close, speak, and a mind that shaped the world answers back, in their own voice, looking right at you. A museum that thinks like an app.

What makes it real

Not a chatbot. A presence.

Five things come together to make every conversation feel alive.

What people say

The first time, nobody believes it.

★★★★★

"I asked Feynman to explain entropy and forgot I was talking to a computer. He paused, he joked, he thought. I've never seen anything like it."

"My 12-year-old spent an hour talking to Marie Curie about radioactivity. An hour. Willingly. Then asked if she could 'meet' Darwin next."

"The lip-sync is what got me. The face actually moves with the words. It crosses the line from 'neat demo' to 'this is a person.'"

Questions

Before you step in.

It's a place to have real, voiced conversations with 3D versions of history's greatest minds. You talk, they answer out loud and on screen — in character, their face moving with every word.

Yes. Your first conversations are on the house — no card required. Patrons unlock every book, unlimited lessons, and a personal tutor for all 32 legends.

The legends are AI, grounded in each figure's real writings, ideas, and recorded voice — but they generate new responses to you. It's a conversation in their character, not a recording of something they actually said, so treat it as a fun, informative starting point rather than a primary source.

Speech is generated by ElevenLabs in each legend's voice. The face is driven in real time by NVIDIA's Audio2Face on a dedicated GPU, so the mouth and expression move with the audio as it's spoken — not a looping animation.

Both. You can speak using your microphone or type — and the legend always replies with real-time voice and matching facial animation.

Yes — many legends include a built-in library where you can read their works and then discuss any passage with them directly.

Thirty-two so far — from Leonardo, Curie, and Einstein to Van Gogh, Tesla, and Lincoln — with more added regularly. Browse the full Hall above.

Just a modern browser. Everything — the 3D figure, the voice, the lip-sync — runs in the page. A microphone lets you talk out loud, but you can type instead.

You can jump straight into the Lab. Signing in lets us save your chat history, lessons, and reading progress across visits.

Any modern desktop or laptop browser gives the smoothest 3D experience. Recent phones and tablets work too.

Patron is the membership that opens the whole library, unlimited lessons, and a personal tutor for every legend. It's how LegendLabs stays independent and keeps adding minds.
